1. Reservation and booking of railway yards, ruralhuts and mobile homes
- When booking a yard, nature house or mobile home, 25% of the total amount must be paid immediately. Once this has been completed, the booking will be final;
- If the 25% deposit has not been received 1 week (7 calendar days) after booking a yard, nature house or mobile home, the reservation will expire.;
- If the guest still wishes to use the nature house or mobile home after the reservation has expired, a new reservation must be made. In this case no claim can be made on the original reservation;
- The remaining 75% must be paid 4 weeks (28 calendar days) before the start;
- If you book less than 4 weeks before the start, the amount must be paid in full as soon as the reservation has been made. This reservation will be converted into a booking once the full amount has been received by Vive la Vie;
- If the booking concerns a nature house or mobile home, the deposit must be paid 4 weeks (28 calendar days) before the start;
- If a nature house or mobile home is booked less than 4 weeks before the start, the deposit must also be paid immediately;
- Deposit paid will be refunded after departure, minus costs incurred. This will take place no later than 4 weeks (28 days) after departure.
2. Cancellation policy for railway yard, ruralhut and mobile home
- If the booking is canceled, the following conditions apply:
a. If cancellation is made earlier than 4 weeks (28 calendar days) before the start, 15% of the total amount of cancellation costs will be charged;
b. If the booking is canceled within 4 weeks (28 calendar days) before the start, 25% of the total amount will be charged;
c. If the booking is canceled within 1 week (7 calendar days) before the start, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
3. Costs for changes to reservations and booking of yard, ruralhut and mobile home
1. If there are any changes, these must be reported by email no later than 30 days before arrival.
4. Conditions of stay
- Vive la Vie does not offer seasonal pitches;
- The maximum duration of a stay at a railway yard, in a ruralhut or mobile home, is 3 weeks (21 days), unless expressly agreed otherwise;
- With regard to a nature house or mobile home, a minimum stay of one week (7 calendar days) applies in the months of July and August. The fixed arrival and departure days fall on Saturdays in July and August, unless expressly agreed otherwise;
- There is no minimum length of stay applicable to a railway yard.
5. Arrival and departure arrangements
5.a.Arrival
- The reservation confirmation must be shown upon arrival;
- Any unpaid amounts, including any deposit, must still be paid. This can be done by debit card, cash or credit card.
- If a pet has been booked, its passport (including vaccination details) must be shown. Vive la Vie can make a copy of this.
5.b. Departure
- The yard and accommodation must be delivered as described under points 7 and 8;
- The final settlement will take place one day before departure during reception times;
- If a final settlement has not been made a day before departure, this must be done on the morning of departure;
- The key to the accommodation must be returned to reception no later than 11 am on the day of departure;
- On the day of departure, guests can still use the facilities after the stated departure time.
5.c. Late arrival or departure appointments
- If a late arrival or departure is expected, this will always take place after consultation with Vive la Vie;
- Vive la Vie assesses per situation what is feasible or not.
5.d. Do not touch
- If no arrival takes place on the day of arrival without informing Vive la Vie, Vive la Vie will cancel the reservation and charge the cancellation costs;
- Informing Vive la Vie in the event of no arrival is done by telephone or email;
- Vive la Vie must have sent confirmation of receipt. Without this confirmation the notification has not been received;
- Refunds will not be made under any circumstances.
5.e. Arrival and departure times for nature house and mobile home
- On the day of arrival, the nature house or mobile home is available from 3 p.m.;
- On the day of departure, the nature house or mobile home must be delivered broom clean no later than 11 am.
5.f. Arrival and departure times at the yard
- On the day of arrival, the yard is available from 3 p.m.;
- On the day of departure, the yard must be vacated no later than 12 noon.
6. Inventory of nature house or mobile home
- The inventory list can be found on the inside of the kitchen cupboard;
- Check as soon as possible whether all inventory is present undamaged. If this is not the case, please let us know before 12 noon the next day. We will make a note of this and, if necessary, arrange for a replacement as soon as possible. After this time, complaints are considered non-existent;
- Missing or damaged items will be charged for.
7. Cleaning of nature house and mobile home
- Fixed cleaning times are included when booking;
- A booking without cleaning costs is not possible;
- The accommodation is delivered clean;
- If upon arrival it turns out that this has not gone well, please report it the same day so that we can put things right. You can of course also report later during your stay, but then we will no longer be able to adjust this;
- The accommodation must be left broom clean upon departure;
- Waste must be removed separately and deposited in the appropriate waste bins;
- There is no more waste present when you leave the nature house or mobile home;
- Dirty laundry must be collected in the central area of the accommodation upon departure;
- Windows and doors must be closed upon departure;
- If it appears upon departure that the accommodation has not been left broom clean, additional cleaning costs may be charged;
- If items are found to be broken or missing during inspection, an amount will be charged for this.
8. Bed and linen in nature house and mobile home
- Kitchen linen is included as standard when booking;
- If you have chosen to rent a sheet package, the beds will be covered with a pillow and a duvet;
- Upon departure, you are requested to collect the bed and kitchen linen in the central room of the accommodation;
- If no sheet package has been rented, this can still be requested upon arrival. The sheets are then delivered, but the beds are not made up after all;
- If no sheet package has been rented, the pillow and duvet should not be used without being protected by a pillowcase or duvet cover. This can be checked.
9. Maximum number of people per nature house or mobile home
- The maximum number of people per accommodation is 3 or 4 people depending on the location booked;
- If desired and after consultation, it is permitted to allow one additional person to stay overnight using equipment you bring with you. The price upon approval is equal to the price of an additional person at a railway yard;
- Vive la Vie reserves the right to refuse access to groups or families with more than the maximum number of people allowed per accommodation. No refund can be requested.
10. Maximum number of persons per yard
- The maximum number of people per yard is 6, with a maximum of one caravan, camper or large tent. It is allowed to place a small tent;

11. Use by Third Parties
- Use by third parties of a camping equipment and/or associated site is only permitted if the owner has given written permission for this;
- Use by third parties of camping equipment and/or associated pitch is only permitted if Vive la Vie has given express permission for this;
- Conditions may be imposed on the consent given, which must then be recorded in writing in advance.
12. Larger groups
- Multiple yards, ruralhuts or mobile homes can be booked simultaneously, but not via the website. Vive la Vie must be contacted separately for this so that they can prepare a quotation;
- Vive la Vie reserves the right to refuse a group. No refund can be requested upon booking.
13. The terrain
- All guests can use the sanitary facilities, the swimming pool and other facilities and activities free of charge at set times;
- Material can be borrowed free of charge, which must be returned undamaged immediately after use;
- If damage is caused to Vive la Vie's property, it may charge costs for this;
- No extra costs will be charged for hot showers. We do ask that you take each other and the scarcity of water into account;
- Vive la Vie provides sufficient toilet paper in the communal sanitary facilities, provided this is not misused;
- If there is no more toilet paper, you can get it from the washbasins in the large sanitary building.
14. Parking and car movements
14.a. Parking and car movements without a booked parking space
- All cars must be parked in the designated parking lot.
- The car may be driven to the campsite on the day of arrival and departure to transport property. Outside these days it is not allowed to use the car for this purpose.
- The vehicle is never allowed on the site between 10:30 PM and 8:00 AM;
- Visitors are never allowed on the site with their vehicle.
14.b. Parking and car movements with booked parking space
- It is requested that you drive the vehicle on the site as little as possible;
- The vehicle can be parked as close as possible to the booked accommodation, tent or caravan, so that others are not affected by this;
- Opening and closing doors unnecessarily often is not permitted;
- Idling the car is not permitted;
- It is not permitted to drive your vehicle on the site between 10:30 PM and 8:00 AM. In that case, the vehicle can be parked in the large parking lot at the beginning of the campsite;
- Visitors are never allowed on the site with their vehicle.
15. Visitors
- Visitors are very welcome, but must always be registered;
- A maximum of 2 visitors are welcome per yard, nature house or mobile home;
- Visitors are not allowed to stay overnight. In that case, they will have to book a rail yard or pay extra for overnight accommodation;
- Visitors pay a fixed amount per day, to be settled upon arrival;
- Visitors are not allowed to visit for more than 2 days;
- Visitors are not allowed to bring a pet;
- Without registration, visitors will be asked to leave the site immediately;
- Visitors are never allowed to enter the site by car or other vehicle;
- Visitors can park for free in the car park at the beginning of the campsite;
- Visitors may not use the facilities provided unless express permission has been granted;
16. Complaint
Of course we hope that your stay is satisfactory. If something is unexpectedly less pleasant, you can let us know. We're trying to come up with a solution. If you do not agree with this solution, you can submit a written complaint to us. We will treat these seriously and always provide you with an answer. If you are still not satisfied, you can report this to the French disputes committee Conciliateur de justice. You can also request the data from us.
17. Acceptance of these terms
By completing the booking, the booker tacitly agrees to these conditions.
These conditions take effect on March 1, 2024. The most current conditions apply.
